KONEF works with educators, schools, families and partners to strengthen the conditions in which teaching and learning can flourish. Our work is rooted in practical professional learning, inclusive education and support for vulnerable children.

Institutional accountability
Governance & Transparency
KONEF is governed by its constitution and established governance structure. The Foundation is not-for-profit and non-political, with a mandate centred on stronger teaching, inclusive learning and access to quality education.

Our constitutional mandate
- Provide free continuous online and onsite professional training to teachers in both private and public schools.
- Educate teachers and further train them in classroom etiquette and professionalism.
- Provide training to teachers from both private and public schools on the basic principles of teaching.
- Educate and train teachers and school owners on effective approaches and methods for managing children with special needs.
Constitutional aims & objectives
- Provide support for primary and secondary school teachers.
- Increase access to quality primary and secondary education for vulnerable children.
- Provide a platform for free teacher training in modern Information Technology (IT), digital applications and programmes.
- Sponsor scholarship, tutoring and extra-mural tutoring for poor and indigent pupils.
